The art world is constantly changing. Digital art is one aspect that allows for endless opportunities to change the way art is viewed in todays world. The contemporary artist Yayoi Kusama uses a number of platforms including digital art to create a new way of interaction and creation. People form all around the globe can look at Kusamas work and interpret it in their own way or even interact with her work. Kusama's work has epically stood out to my throughout this class because I feel she was brave enough to be vulnerable with the world and in doing so she created a platform for global connection. Kusama has struggled with mental health issues and she used art as a way to express what she feels and to bring herself back to reality. I feel although we may not struggle with mental health in the way that Kusama does, that today epically an escape or return to reality is something that can be globally related to. Overall I feel Kusamas works have demonstrated a platform of digital art that people from around the world can appreciate.
